Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shao Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Redpath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahn comes to the cage accompanied by Shao Kahn Theme. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahn moves into the clinch.
Kahn prevents a takedown attempt there.
Redpath fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Redpath drags the fight down to the ground.
Redpath looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kahn is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Redpath is on top in guard.
Redpath on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Redpath tries to get out of the position.

Redpath creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kahn sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Redpath should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kahn is looking for a sweep.

Kahn dodges the ground and pound from Kahn.
Kahn is trying to get back to half guard.
Redpath has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kahn is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Redpath yanks on the arm and Kahn is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Redpath.
