Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ippo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Voices by Rev Theory. Makunouchi has chosen Pretender as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makunouchi throws out a powerful jab.
Makunouchi misses with a straight left.
Makunouchi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Orton.
Orton tries a head kick but it misses.
Orton fails with the takedown.
Orton misses with a body kick.
Orton tries to clinch there but Makunouchi circles away.

Makunouchi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Orton.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Orton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Randy Orton has been cut.

Orton is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Makunouchi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Orton throws a hook to the side of Makunouchi 's head but Makunouchi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Orton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Orton is looking to clinch.
Orton throws a right hand that Makunouchi ducks under and follows up with a left that Makunouchi also avoids with ease.
Makunouchi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Makunouchi displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ippo Makunouchi dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Randy Orton's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Makunouchi connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Orton tumbling to the canvas! Makunouchi pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Orton was done - good stoppage!
