Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fatty McFat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fatty McFat!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James looks to land a combination but McFat avoids it well.
McFat looks to land a left hand but James moved out of range nicely.

McFat throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. James was covering up waiting for the punch and McFat finishes the takedown easily into guard.
McFat throwing strikes but missing.

McFat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McFat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
James is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
McFat wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McFat is working James over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McFat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McFat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McFat tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McFat's half guard.
James seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
James tries to stand but his hand is stuck under McFat.
McFat is pressing down on James's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
James trying to control but McFat is working from the bottom.

McFat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

McFat manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. James manages to get himself to full guard.

James on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if James tries to get out of the position.

McFat is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
James might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McFat wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.

James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

McFat fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. James sprawls well initially but McFat persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
James wants to improve his position but McFat is controlling well.
McFat is looking to advance position but James won't allow it.
James knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McFat on the ground.
James tries to roll over but McFat keeps him under control.

James is defending against the submission attempts here by McFat.
McFat looks gassed!

McFat is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
James misses with some strikes from the bottom.
James lands with a few short shots to the body.
McFat is looking to take a break and control but James is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McFat attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
James slips a jab from McFat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McFat tries to close the distance and clinch but James swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
James shoots in and drives through. McFat sprawls well.

James shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
James thows a huge punch but McFat dodges it nicely.
McFat gets back to full guard.
McFat lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for James!
James is trying desperately to improve position.

McFat is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. James can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McFat has control of James's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and James regains control of the situation pretty easily.
James is wriggling around trying to escape.
James throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

McFat jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but James manages to avoid the submission attempt.
James tries to improve position but can't.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

McFat is trying to get an arm triangle but James is defending well.
McFat is breathing heavily.
McFat looking to punish the body of his opponent here but James is avoiding damage well.
James is looking to regain half guard here but McFat keeps moving and retains side control.

McFat is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, James has escaped the position, nice work there.

McFat is trying to get an arm triangle but James is defending well.
James wants to get back to his feet but McFat drags him back down.

James tries to buck McFat off but McFat is having none of it.

McFat tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McFat has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
James tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McFat wants to control but James is keeping him busy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
James closes the distance and lands a one-two.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

James looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for McFat!
McFat gets back to half guard.
McFat is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of James's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take James's back!

James tries to roll but McFat sticks to his back.
James is working hard here to advance position.
McFat gets his hands free as James looks to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fatty McFat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

James thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

McFat takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
James is looking to work some ground and pound but McFat has wrist control.

McFat is looking for a triangle but James pushes his legs off easily.
James landing some decent shots from guard.

James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McFat swivels though and keeps the full guard.
James wants to control from the top but McFat keeps moving.
James stands up over McFat, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

McFat is looking for a triangle but James pushes his legs off easily.

James wants to pass the guard but McFat is keeping the position.

McFat working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. James doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. James manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

James wants to stand and escape but instead McFat has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
McFat wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.
James is trying to control the position but McFat postures up.
Fatty McFat is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
James slips a jab from McFat.
James shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and McFat counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
James keeping moving, preventing McFat from controlling successfully.

James is looking to sweep but instead, McFat has passed into half guard.
James is trying to maintain the position but McFat is very close to passing his half guard.
James is not content to let McFat control the position.
McFat works his way into full mount!
James really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
James wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by McFat.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Fatty McFat.
I've got McFat winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
