Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Midge Watkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyler troop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). tyler troop will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
troop shoots in but no luck this time.
Watkins with a poor takedown

and troop counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Watkins's guard now.

troop wanted to stand there but Watkins had control of the position.
Watkins keeping moving, preventing troop from controlling successfully.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Watkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Watkins got a little sloppy there for a moment and troop has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Watkins has managed to get both his arms back between troop's legs - danger averted.
