Teague kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Oh Well. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Teague throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pereira stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Teague takes a swing at Pereira's ribcage but misses.
Teague throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Pereira feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Teague's calf.
Teague jabs Pereira right on the nose. Pereira blinks but takes it well.
Nice shot lands for Teague.
Dan Teague seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pereira crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Teague - the referee stops the clock and Pereira gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Teague. Pereira manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Teague lands a head kick. Pereira smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pereira takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Pereira lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Teague misses with a straight right.
Teague lunges at Pereira with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pereira's hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pereira avoids the body shot from Teague.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pereira in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Teague, as that shot connected.
