Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Concrete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Concrete!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Dorian!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concrete defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dorian.
Dorian shoots in but Concrete avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Concrete drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Concrete distracts Dorian with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Concrete slips nicely into half guard.
Dorian tries to get to full guard but Concrete has control of the leg.
Dorian has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Concrete is working away from the top position though.

Concrete is trying to work for a kimura but Dorian is defending well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Concrete in particular looking to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Concrete thows a huge punch but Dorian dodges it nicely.
Dorian wants to get back to full guard.
Dorian is staying active underneath Concrete, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Concrete misses with a takedown

so Dorian counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Concrete trying to control the position.
Dorian trying to control the position from guard on top but Concrete is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dorian really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Concrete. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Concrete looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dorian has picked Concrete up and slammed him! Concrete can't keep hold of the triangle and Dorian manages to pass to side control!
Concrete is breathing heavily.
Concrete is looking for a sweep.
Dorian tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Dorian tries to advance to mount but Concrete instead regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dorian is pressing down on Concrete's thigh, looking to free his foot. Concrete is holding on for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dorian tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Concrete.

Dorian decides to stand and escape the position.
Concrete steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dorian. That one must have hurt.
Concrete is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dorian.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dorian with a lazy takedown attempt

and Concrete counters with a single leg into guard. Dorian didn't expect that.
James Concrete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Dorian.
Concrete stays in close to Dorian's body and controls the position.
Concrete looking to pass the guard.
Concrete seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dorian throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Concrete controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that James Concrete will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Dorian with a poor takedown

and Concrete counters with a shoot takedown. Dorian fights it but they end up in guard.
Dorian pulls Concrete in to control the position.
Concrete pushes down on Dorian's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Concrete is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Concrete frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Dorian wants to control but Concrete is having none of it.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Concrete cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dorian is looking to get to half guard.
James Concrete overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Concrete tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Dorian is looking to get to half guard.

Concrete has isolated one of Dorian's arms. Dorian looking to fight him off but Concrete twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
