Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between bob bobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray TheKiller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray TheKiller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bobson shoots in for a double leg but TheKiller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

bobson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - bobson lands in his opponent's guard.

bobson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
bobson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. TheKiller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

TheKiller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

TheKiller pulls bobson in close to his closed guard and prevents bobson from doing any damage or advancing position.

TheKiller is trying to control the position but bobson postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

bobson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but TheKiller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

bobson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. TheKiller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

bobson wants to clinch up but TheKiller keeps it at a distance.
TheKiller stuffs the takedown attempt from bobson. bobson gets slowly back to his feet.
bobson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around TheKiller's waist but TheKiller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing bobson off to one side.
