Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Smithy shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smithy pinned against the cage. Smithy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice jab there from Silva.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Smithy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smithy walks into a jab.
Silva lands a jab-cross combination.
Silva looks to throw the jab but Smithy is out of range.
Anthony Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smithy closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage.

Smithy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Silva!
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smithy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Smithy is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Smithy takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Silva cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
