Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Mc Arthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar comes to the cage accompanied by Rick Ross- The Boss. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mc Arthur shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Edgar sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Edgar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mc Arthur defends well.

Edgar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Edgar wants it to stay on the feet.

Edgar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mc Arthur tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Edgar paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Edgar darts in and clinches Mc Arthur up against the cage.
Edgar tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Mc Arthur tries to pull guard but Edgar won't allow it.

Mc Arthur has hold of one of Edgar's legs. Edgar is fighting the takedown attempt but Mc Arthur gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Edgar wants to sweep here but Mc Arthur controlling him for the moment.

Mc Arthur closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Edgar did well to prevent Mc Arthur getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mc Arthur slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Mc Arthur got a little sloppy there for a moment and Edgar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mc Arthur has managed to get both his arms back between Edgar's legs - danger averted.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Edgar is on top in guard.

Mc Arthur has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Edgar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
