The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penderas walks into a stiff left hand from Norris.
Norris moves out of range as Penderas strikes.
Norris slips under a jab from Penderas.

Penderas misses with a wild body shot.
Guillermo Penderas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norris displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Penderas throws out the jab.

Penderas uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Norris counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Penderas is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Norris connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Oh Penderas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Norris circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Penderas to the canvas! Penderas doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Norris keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
