Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Donalds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by Never Can Say Goodbye. Donalds has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Roy Nelson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mac Donalds! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson scores a takedown into full mount! Nelson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Donalds looks gassed! Nelson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's one minute gone in the round. Nelson controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Roy Nelson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nelson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Donalds looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nelson tries to advance to mount but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nelson taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nelson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Nelson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Nelson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Nelson works to advance to full mount. Donalds defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nelson content just to control the position here. Donalds tries to buck Nelson off but Nelson takes his back! Nelson controls the action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Roy Nelson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Donalds shoots in for a takedown but Nelson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. An inside leg kick lands from Donalds. Donalds is looking to clinch. Nelson leaves Donalds with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nelson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Donalds. Roy Nelson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Donalds. Nelson shoots in for a takedown but Donalds shows good takedown defense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donalds tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nelson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nelson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Nelson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nelson showed some decent athleticism there. Nelson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Donalds trying to control here.

And that's the end of the fight! Roy Nelson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nelson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
