Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, milone sILVA!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matias will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Matias throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Matias tries to close the distance and clinch up but sILVA swats him away and circles back towards the center.
sILVA shoots in for a takedown but Matias shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Matias pivots, looking for a leg kick but sILVA is out of range and Matias settles back down.

sILVA scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
sILVA is looking to take a break and control but Matias is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

sILVA is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Matias is staying active underneath sILVA, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Matias is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

sILVA is working for a kimura but Matias is defending it quite comfortably.

sILVA feints and as Matias raises his hands in defense, sILVA changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

sILVA drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. sILVA seems to have locked his on tight now - Matias screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for sILVA, as he picks up the win!
