Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Senor Skeletor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Joe Shadow has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Shadow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Senor Skeletor!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skeletor misses with a low kick.
Shadow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Skeletor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shadow stalks Skeletor and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Skeletor's face. Skeletor staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Senor Skeletor has been cut.
Skeletor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shadow tries to close the distance and clinch but Skeletor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Shadow is looking to clinch but Skeletor is avoiding it.
Shadow closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Skeletor lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shadow has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shadow and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Shadow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Shadow tries for a takedown but Skeletor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Skeletor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Shadow tries to clinch but Skeletor is having none of it.

Skeletor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shadow manages to avoid it.
Skeletor is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Shadow rather than just go for the knockout.

Shadow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Shadow throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Shadow can't break the clinch.
Shadow is trying to break the clinch but Skeletor is controlling him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Skeletor shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Skeletor showed some decent athleticism there.

Skeletor is pressing down on Shadow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Shadow is holding on for now.

Skeletor is working for an americana but Shadow has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Skeletor was thinking about the submission.

Shadow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Skeletor's guard.

Skeletor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shadow defends well.

That's time! Shadow's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Skeletor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shadow's guard.
Skeletor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Skeletor postures up and lands a big shot to Shadow's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shadow will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Shadow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Skeletor is one step ahead there.
Shadow wants to stand and escape but Skeletor is having none of it.
Shadow thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shadow is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Skeletor is in big trouble! Shadow is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Skeletor. Poor guy.
