Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ozbe Brezovec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Ramone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brezovec's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Where is my mind?. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ramone's choice of entrance music: Don't fear the reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramone swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brezovec dives in and grabs Ramone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramone pushes down on Brezovec's head and hops out.
Ramone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brezovec did well to prevent Ramone getting side control.
Brezovec slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ramone controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brezovec looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ramone is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ramone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brezovec swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ramone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brezovec. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ramone wants to control the pace but Brezovec is squirming around nicely.
Ramone goes for an armbar but Brezovec turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Brezovec.
Ramone scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Ramone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brezovec to the mat! Brezovec manages to get full guard.
Ramone controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Let's hope that Ramone has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ramone is taking a breather. Brezovec says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ramone is keen to just control but Brezovec is a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ramone postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brezovec looks a forlorn figure.

Ramone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ramone shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brezovec manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Ramone wants to pass the guard but Brezovec is keeping the position.

Ricardo Ramone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ramone tries to free his leg and advance position but Brezovec is retaining full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Brezovec isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ramone stacks Brezovec on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ramone!
Ramone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brezovec knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Brezovec's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ramone decides to stand up, so the ref orders Brezovec to his feet.
Ramone rushes Brezovec and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ramone has clasped his hands together around Brezovec's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Ramone slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Ozbe Brezovec has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ricardo Ramone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Brezovec is trying to get back to his feet but Ramone has full control of the position and if anything, Brezovec has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Well Ramone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
