The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Braincells sprawls well. Braincells wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gaga gets slowly back to his feet.

Tracy Gaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gaga shoots in looking for a takedown. Braincells tries to sprawl out of it but Gaga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Braincells manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lostma Braincells has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tracy Gaga.
Gaga takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Tracy Gaga has been cut.

Braincells tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gaga swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Braincells shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Braincells was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Braincells seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gaga for as long as he can get away with.
Gaga stops Braincells from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Braincells is looking to work his way around to Gaga's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Gaga is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gaga tries to improve his position but instead Braincells has taken his back!
Braincells has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gaga has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Braincells is looking for the choke from the back position but Gaga is controlling his hands well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gaga is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Braincells doesn't have the hooks in and Gaga manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gaga is looking to advance position but Braincells has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
