PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Winston Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pikkuseen Darraa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfe comes to the cage accompanied by Misirlou. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darraa scores with a nice strike.
Wolfe misses with a series of wild punches.
A jab lands there for Wolfe.
Darraa tries to close the distance and clinch but Wolfe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Darraa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Darraa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wolfe.
Wolfe tries to bum rush Darraa with a series of wild strikes but Darraa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Darraa slips under a jab.
Wolfe looks to land a left hand but Darraa moved out of range nicely.
Darraa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Darraa wants to clinch.
Wolfe misses with an uppercut.
Wolfe has a takedown stuffed.
Wolfe throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Darraa throws a series of punches but Wolfe avoids them all with ease.
Wolfe throws a looping overhand right but Darraa ducks down to avoid it.

and Darraa counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Darraa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wolfe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Darraa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Darraa has control of Wolfe's left arm, preventing Wolfe from doing any damage.

Wolfe stays in close to Darraa's body and controls the position.

Wolfe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Darraa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wolfe has managed to get both his arms back between Darraa's legs - danger averted.

Darraa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wolfe gets to his feet - Darraa follows without any prompting.

Wolfe lands a big uppercut and Darraa crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Darraa looks OK. Wolfe waves Darraa back to his feet!

It looks like Pikkuseen Darraa has been cut.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wolfe manages to break the clinch.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Wolfe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Wolfe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Darraa.
The fight stays on the outside here - Darraa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Darraa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Pikkuseen Darraa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
