Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ling Yuan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ling Yuan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Genghis Khan!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuan misses with a takedown attempt - Khan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Yuan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Khan misses with a two punch combination.
Khan misses the shot to the body.
Khan swats away the attempt to clinch by Yuan.
Khan throws a nice looking combination but Yuan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Yuan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Ling Yuan has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some wild striking there from Khan.
Khan misses with a wild combination.
Yuan shoots in and drives through. Khan sprawls well.
Khan misses with a series of wild punches.
Yuan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khan pinned against the cage. Khan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ling Yuan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yuan is breathing heavily.
Khan throws out a powerful jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan cracks Yuan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Yuan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Khan finish him?
Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yuan.
Khan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Khan drives through and clinches with Yuan against the cage.
Khan has hold of one of Yuan's legs. Yuan is fighting the takedown attempt but Khan gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Khan passes Yuan's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Khan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yuan is just riding it out for now. Khan eventually gives up the hold.
Khan is looking to take a break and control but Yuan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ground and pound from Khan.
Yuan is trying to stand.
Khan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Yuan defend it? Khan steps over the head and cranks it - Yuan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Khan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Genghis Khan!
