Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clark comes into the arena with DJ KHALED-ALL I DO IS WHEN blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Todd Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cesar Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunter but Hunter pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nice sprawl there from Hunter as Clark shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Todd Clark. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Clark gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hunter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hunter wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.
Hunter might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Clark kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hunter is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Clark tries to keep at a distance but Hunter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Clark tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hunter smiles and moves away.
Hunter swats away the attempt to clinch by Clark.

Hunter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clark's guard.
Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clark swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hunter wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hunter is looking to work some ground and pound but Clark has wrist control.
Clark is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hunter is controlling him.
Clark is breathing heavily.
Clark keeping moving, preventing Hunter from controlling successfully.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hunter is pushing down on Clark's leg trying to pass to half guard. Clark is fighting to maintain full guard but Hunter has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hunter looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Clark is staying active underneath Hunter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hunter not landing any meaningful shots this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Clark tries to keep at a distance but Hunter has taken the fight into the clinch.

Clark lands with a hook. Hunter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Hunter feints and as Clark raises his hands in defense, Hunter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Clark is working an open guard so Hunter takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A left and a right from Clark both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Cesar Hunter has been cut.
Hunter takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clark misses with a two punch combination.

Hunter scores with a takedown into Clark's guard.
Hunter is working Clark over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hunter stands up and waves to Clark to follow him.

Hunter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clark, pushing him back against the ropes.

Clark tries for a takedown but Hunter manages to get underhooks.

Hunter is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Clark can't fight it off and eventually Hunter manages to take the fight to the floor. Clark looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hunter missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Hunter stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Todd Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hunter feints and as Clark raises his hands in defense, Hunter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hunter with a nice head shot there.
Hunter forces his way into half guard.
Clark is refusing to be controlled, as Hunter sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cesar Hunter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Clark's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


Hunter throws a nice looking combination but Clark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Todd Clark is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Clark clinches but Hunter breaks the clinch

and Hunter counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Clark's guard now.

Hunter is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Hunter tries to pass the half guard into mount. Clark knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ground and pound from Hunter.
Hunter throwing shots but Clark is blocking nicely.
Todd Clark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hunter is taking a breather. Clark says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hunter is trying to control the action in half guard but Clark is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cesar Hunter has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Despite being in the dominant position, Cesar Hunter just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A big left from Hunter misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hunter is stalling here.

Hunter ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hunter no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hunter wants to sweep but no luck.

Hunter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clark defends it easily.
Clark scoring with punches to the head and body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cesar Hunter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hunter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
