Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panoma Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panoma Le will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panoma Le!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Le with that takedown attempt.
Panoma Le seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Le tries to clinch but Lesnar is having none of it.

Le takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lesnar misses with a series of wild punches.
Lesnar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Le was well out of range. Poor timing from Lesnar.
Lesnar tries to clinch but Le is having none of it.
Le shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lesnar pinned against the cage. Lesnar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up with Le, looking for a takedown. Lesnar pushes Le against the cage but Le circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lesnar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lesnar wants it to stay on the feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Le looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Le shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Le keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Le is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lesnar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lesnar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Le fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Lesnar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Le's guard.
Le utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Le trying to keep a closed guard but Lesnar is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Le might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lesnar kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lesnar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lesnar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lesnar cracks Le with a big elbow.
Le is trying to get back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lesnar shoots in for a double leg but Le sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Le avoids a punch combination nicely.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Le napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Le keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Le stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Le wants it to stay on the feet.
Le tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lesnar is keen to just control but Le is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Le makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Le.
Lesnar stops Le from standing up.
Lesnar lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Lesnar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Le bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lesnar's guard.

Lesnar is pulling down on Le's head. It's preventing any offense from Le, at least for the moment.
Lesnar wants to sweep here but Le controlling him for the moment.

Lesnar wants to get back to his feet but Le is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lesnar is trying to keep Le in close.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lesnar holds on and takes a little breather.

Le decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
No luck for Le with that takedown attempt.
Lesnar tries to bum rush Le with a series of wild strikes but Le uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Le doesn't manage to clinch there - Lesnar circles away.

Le misses with a takedown attempt - Lesnar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lesnar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Le's elbow.

A looping hook to the body misses from Le. Lesnar does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lesnar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Le moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Le is pressed up against the cage. Lesnar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Le down to the mat. Le avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Le.
Lesnar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Le walks away with a smile on his face. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Lesnar counters with a left and a right that stings Le.

Lesnar managing to block the knees to the body from Le.

Lesnar is trying to break the clinch but Le has him pressed against the cage.
Lesnar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lesnar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Le walks away with a smile on his face. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Le as he jumps to the side.
Lesnar misses with a few strikes there.
Lesnar throws the left hand but Le avoids the punch easily.
Le is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lesnar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lesnar attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Lesnar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Le is trying to defend but Lesnar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Lesnar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Le's head.

Le has one foot on Lesnar's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Le uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lesnar.

Lesnar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Le is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lesnar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Le moves into range and clinches up with Lesnar.
Lesnar lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Le backwards.
Lesnar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Les head.
Lesnar wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Le misses with some punches.
Le throws a knee to the head but misses.
Le prevents Lesnar from breaking the clinch.

Lesnar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Panoma Le has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Le wants to clinch up but Lesnar keeps it at a distance.
Le tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lesnar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Le somewhat.

Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Le looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

And that's the end of the fight!
Brock Lesnar showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lesnar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
