Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Horwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RG Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as RG Dias enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias fails with a takedown attempt.

Horwood moves into the clinch.
Horwood wants to stall.
Dias working hard to break the clinch.
Horwood blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Dias wants to break free but Horwood has control.
Dias's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Horwood has Dias pressed against the cage, preventing Dias from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Horwood manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dias.
Dias takes one on the button.

Horwood closes the distance and clinches.
Dias is looking to break free of the clinch but Horwood has double underhooks.
Horwood is trying to stall.

Horwood lands a nice uppercut.
Horwood throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Diass head.
Horwood cracks Dias with a nice body shot.

Dias jumps into guard, dragging Horwood to the mat.

Dias shoots in for a double leg but Horwood sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from Horwood. No joy for Dias on that attempt.

Dias shoots for a takedown but Horwood saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Horwood throws a head kick that Dias semi-blocks.

Dias shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dias showed some decent athleticism there.
Horwood pushes Dias off looking to stand but Dias dives back in and keeps control.

Horwood kicks off Dias and gets to his feet.
Dias drops his hands momentarily and Horwood takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Horwood darts in and clinches Dias up against the cage.
Dias wants a takedown.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dias is trying to maintain a safe position but Horwood gets an underhook and turns Dias into the cage.

Horwood lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Horwood is controlling the pace.

Horwood stands up out of the half guard.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dias is defended easily by Horwood.
Horwood moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Horwood moves into range and clinches up with Dias.
Horwood is pushing Dias up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Horwood lands a right hand.
Dias drops down looking for an ankle pick but Horwood pulls his leg out and moves away.

Horwood closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dias's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Horwood is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dias is keeping busy.

Dias misses with some punches.
Dias tries to break the clinch but Horwood is controlling the position.

Horwood lands a takedown into guard.
Dias manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dias looking to finish with strikes here!
Dias won't let Horwood get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Dias looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Dias can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Horwood is looking to escape.

Dias is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Horwood is surviving well by controlling Dias's body position as best he can.
Horwood squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Dias is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Dias extends the arm and Horwood is forced to tap!
