Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bing Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordy Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bong kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Voices. Jefferson has chosen Know your enemy as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jefferson keeps the fight on the outside.
Jefferson lands with an uppercut that bounces Bong off the cage and back into rage.
Bong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bong motions for Jefferson to come forward. Bong throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bong fails with the takedown.

and Bong counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jefferson!

Bong wants to control the pace but Jefferson is squirming around nicely.
Jefferson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bong trying to control but Jefferson is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bong working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Bong fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

It looks like Gordy Jefferson has been cut.

Bong looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Jefferson is in a horrible position here. Bong smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jefferson can do anything to dispel that myth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jefferson tries to control Bong's body but Bong pushes him off. Jefferson squirms to his side and now Bong has his back!
