The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Big Dog changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Anderson pushes Big Dog away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Big Dog gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Anderson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Anderson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Big Dog asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Big Dog is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anderson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Big Dog wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anderson keeps working.
Anderson prevents Big Dog from improving position.
Anderson is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Big Dog tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Big Dog has hold of Anderson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Anderson seems comfortable defending it but Big Dog has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Anderson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Anderson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Big Dog couldn't care less - he's delighted!
