The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machamp tries to avoid it but Chavez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machamp to the ground. Machamp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Machamp scores with a body shot.
Machamp misses with a double jab.
Chavez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Chavez is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Machamp is trying to escape and Chavez transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Machamp is forced to tap! Nice work there by Chavez! Very nice indeed!
