The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JoMack tries a low kick but Pain avoids it.
JoMack wants to clinch.

Pain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
JoMack is in all sorts of trouble here.
Pain can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as JoMack is looking to escape.
JoMack is trying to stand.

Pain trying to control but JoMack is having none of it.

JoMack tries to hold on but Pain postures up.
JoMack tries to improve his position but instead Pain has taken his back!

Pain pulls out of a head kick attempt.

JoMack throws a hook to the side of Pain's head but Pain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pain is trying to keep JoMack in close.
Pain wants to sweep but no luck.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pain tries to pull guard but JoMack won't allow it.

Max Pain is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pain looks to land a combination but JoMack avoids it well.
JoMack keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Pain jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… JoMack is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by JoMack and Pain has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
JoMack is looking to reverse the position.
Pain works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
JoMack tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Pain connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused JoMack some visible discomfort.

Pain is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pain is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Pain has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

It looks like Wille JoMack has been cut.
Pain lands a big head kick that sends JoMack to the canvas! Pain follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
