Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and joshua johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by Dismembered. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor shoots in and drives through. johnson sprawls well.

Taylor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. johnson did well to prevent Taylor getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
johnson wants to improve his position but Taylor is controlling well.
Taylor working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on johnson's thigh. johnson counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Taylor wants to control from the top but johnson keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Taylor is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because johnson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Taylor bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Taylor decides to stand back up.

Taylor shoots in and bounces johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Taylor tries to free his leg and advance position but johnson is retaining full guard.

Taylor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so johnson is just riding it out for now. Taylor eventually gives up the hold.

Taylor pushes johnson up against the cage in a clinch.
Taylor lands a knee to the head.

Taylor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics johnson uses from the top position.
Taylor throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Taylor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Taylor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Taylor has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. johnson doesn't defend quickly enough and Taylor has managed to lock this one up! Can johnson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Taylor on a fantastic submission victory.
