The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luigano shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goran as he jumps to the side.

Goran scores with a takedown into Luigano's guard.

Luigano can't keep his opponent in guard - Goran advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Luigano pushes Goran off looking to stand but Goran dives back in and keeps control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Goran wants to clinch.

Luigano wants to break free but Goran has control.

Luigano tries to break the clinch but Goran is controlling the position.

Goran breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ando Luigano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Goran fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Luigano sprawls well initially but Goran persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Luigano is kicking away at Goran from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Goran grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Luigano trying to push Goran off... Luigano taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
