These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bede tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gonzalez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
