The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sensintaffar avoids it really well and circles away.
Sensintaffar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Davis.
Sensintaffar scores with a hook to the body. Davis takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sensintaffar misses with a jab, cross combination.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Davis has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Davis wants to sweep here but Sensintaffar controlling him for the moment.

Davis moves forwards but Sensintaffar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A slow jab from Sensintaffar misses its intended target.
Sensintaffar cracks Davis with a right hand to the side of the head.
Davis shoots in and drives through. Sensintaffar sprawls well.
Davis throws a body punch but Sensintaffar moves out of range.
Sensintaffar moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A head kick from Sensintaffar lands but Davis takes it in his stride.

Davis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sensintaffar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sensintaffar throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sensintaffar trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom.
Davis has control of Sensintaffar's left arm, preventing Sensintaffar from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Davis is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sensintaffar is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Davis asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Davis is putting a hurting on Sensintaffar here, landing some big shots from side control.
Sensintaffar is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Davis is controlling him well.

Davis closes the distance looking for a takedown. Sensintaffar stuffs it but Davis still has hold of him. Davis picks Sensintaffar up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Davis slams Sensintaffar to the floor and that's really hurt Sensintaffar - he doesn't know where he is! Davis throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
