Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kuro Endo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryce Thurstan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Endo comes to the ring accompanied by Name of the Game by The Crystal Method. Kuro Endo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Endo throws a sloppy head kick and Thurstan moves out of range easily.
Endo looks to land a combination but Thurstan avoids it well.

Endo clinches with his opponent.

Thurstan breaks the clinch.
Endo misses with a wild combination.
A left lands for Endo.
Thurstan tries to clinch up.

Thurstan looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Endo keeping moving, preventing Thurstan from controlling successfully.
Thurstan throws a strike but Endo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Endo sitting in guard here, content to control.
Endo wants to stand but Thurstan is controlling his posture from full guard.

Thurstan wants to control but Endo passes easily into half guard.
Thurstan is trying to maintain the position but Endo is very close to passing his half guard.
Thurstan trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Endo controlling the pace for now.

Endo gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Endo has a takedown stuffed.

Thurstan moves into the clinch successfully.
Thurstan fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Endo manages to break the clinch.
Endo fails with the takedown

and Thurstan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Endo is breathing heavily.
Thurstan tries to pull guard but Endo holds him up against the ropes and eventually Thurstan drops back down to his feet.
Endo wants to break free but Thurstan has control.

Endo breaks from the clinch.
Thurstan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Endo throws a lazy body kick

and Thurstan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Endo!
Thurstan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Endo is looking to escape.

Thurstan get's back to his feet.

Thurstan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Thurstan landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Thurstan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Endo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kuro Endo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryce Thurstan.
Endo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Thurstan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thurstan trying to control from Endo's half guard. Endo has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Endo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Endo has his feet on Thurstan's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Endo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Thurstan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Endo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Endo connects with the punch.
Thurstan closes the distance but Endo moves to the side
and Endo counters with a right hand to the body.
Endo connects with a nice cross there... Thurstan is looking wobbly and Endo recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Thurstan to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Endo jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
