Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Doug Crocket!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quid lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Quid gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Quid manages to break the clinch.
Crocket shoots in looking for a takedown. Quid tries to sprawl out of it but Crocket keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quid manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Crocket will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Quid pushes Crocket up against the cage in a clinch.
Crocket is working for takedown but Quid is calmly controlling the position for now.
Johnny Quid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doug Crocket.
Quid makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Quid lands with a left to the head.
Quid lands with a right to the head.
Quid lands a body punch in the clinch.
Quid lands a hook to the side of the head.
Quid lands a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Quid breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Quid. No joy for Crocket on that attempt.
Quid will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Quid misses with a wild combination.
Quid stuffs the takedown attempt from Crocket. Crocket gets slowly back to his feet.
Quid with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Crocket looks gassed!

Quid lands a nice leg kick that just misses Crocket's sensitive parts.
Doug Crocket seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quid moves into the clinch.

Quid misses with a series of wild punches.

Quid takes the fight into the clinch.
Crocket wants a takedown.

Quid escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Quid dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Crocket. That did some damage!

Quid rushes Crocket and presses him up against the cage.
Quid makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Crocket's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Quid working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Come on Quid - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Quid scores with a nice hook to the head.
Quid lands a left hand that snaps the head of Crocket backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Quid.

Quid breaks the clinch.

Quid has closed the distance and engaged Crocket in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quid stalling.
Quid lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Crocket backwards.

Quid manages to break the clinch.
Quid connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Crocket tumbling to the canvas! Quid pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Crocket was done - good stoppage!
