The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pewter misses with a series of wild punches.
Chase tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pewter swivels and escapes.
Pewter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pewter lands a jab to the nose.
Chase fails in his attempt to clinch.
Chase misses with a takedown attempt - Pewter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alexander Pewter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chase avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pewter closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Pewter scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pewter lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Chase is looking to close the distance but Pewter sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Chase crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Chase is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
