Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silva Noguiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parker David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Slipknot - Duality. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David drives through with a takedown into guard.

David got a little sloppy there for a moment and Noguiera has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, David has managed to get both his arms back between Noguiera's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Noguiera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but David can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Noguiera has his foot on David's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. David works his way back into a safe position though.
David is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Let's hope that David has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

David is trying to stick to Noguiera's back but Noguiera is turning into David. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in David's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Noguiera.
David manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

David gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

David misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice takedown defense from Noguiera. No joy for David on that attempt.
Noguiera shoots in looking for a takedown. David tries to sprawl out of it but Noguiera keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. David manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

David is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Noguiera is forced to tap! Great finish!
