The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
apugam keeps Satriani at a distance using the push kick.
A swing and a miss from Satriani.
Satriani leaves apugam with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
apugam tries to close the distance and clinch up but Satriani swats him away and circles back towards the center.
apugam shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
apugam scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Tom Satriani has been cut.
apugam is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Satriani's half guard.

Satriani is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of apugam's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take apugam's back!
