The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from X misses.
X shoots in and drives through. Hard sprawls well.
X looks to land a combination but Hard avoids it well.
X throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
X throws a head kick that misses.
X shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
X avoids a punch combination nicely.

X rushes Hard and presses him up against the ropes.

X breaks from the clinch.
Hard leaves X with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Malcolm X. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hard displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from X.
X shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hard as he jumps to the side.
Hard lands with a big left! X is wobbled badly! Hard comes in with a flurry of punches and drops X to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
