Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Monteiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monteiro kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is The King of Kings-Motorhead. Melendez has chosen Devour-Shinedown as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monteiro throws a head kick but Melendez moves out of range.

Melendez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Melendez seems to be working for a kimura but Monteiro defends the submission attempt.
Monteiro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Melendez on the ground.
Melendez frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
