The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Bishop as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Titus Napao has been cut.

Napao closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Napao lands in his opponent's guard.

Napao takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Napao doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Napao tries to clinch up but Bishop circles away and keeps his distance.

Napao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bishop moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Napao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bishop.
Bishop lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bishop looks to land a combination but Napao avoids it well.

Bishop misses with a few strikes there.

Bishop lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Napao circles away quickly and effectively.
Logan Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bishop fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Napao manages to avoid it.

Napao closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Napao seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bishop does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Napao wants to take a breather but Bishop is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bishop fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Napao looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bishop tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Napao was well out of range. Poor timing from Bishop.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bishop is defending against the submission attempts here by Napao.
