Bourne comes to the cage accompanied by Extreme Ways - Moby. Jason Bourne could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jake Coultas's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourne tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bourne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coultas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bourne is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Coultas gets his way!

Bourne is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Coultas off and has taken his back!

Bourne is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Coultas has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Coultas breaks Bourne's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Coultas wants to pass the guard but Bourne is keeping the position.

Bourne working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coultas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coultas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Coultas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bourne pinned against the cage. Bourne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bourne throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Coultas's head.
Coultas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bourne swivels and escapes.

Horrible takedown by Coultas or perhaps it was just good defense by Bourne which made him look bad.

Coultas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bourne doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coultas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bourne has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Coultas is working away from the top position though.

Bourne tries to roll over but Coultas keeps him under control.
Coultas perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coultas connects with a nice short shot to Bourne's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bourne is refusing to be controlled, as Coultas sits in half guard.
Coultas is looking to advance position but Bourne won't allow it.
Jason Bourne has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bourne lands an overhand right.
Jason Bourne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bourne ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Coultas has closed the distance and engaged Bourne in a clinch.
Bourne has Coultas pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Coultas manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jake Coultas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Coultas works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Bourne had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Coultas is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bourne Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Coultas's back instead.
