Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antero Siren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Puupaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puupaa pushes Siren up against the cage in a clinch.

Puupaa has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Siren regains guard immediately.
Puupaa tries to free his leg and advance position but Siren is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Siren controls Puupaa momentarily but Puupaa frees himself.
Siren really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Puupaa drops back, looking for a kneebar! Siren looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Siren looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Siren!
Puupaa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Siren wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Puupaa is looking to reverse the position.
Siren will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Puupaa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Siren is working for a submission of some sort.
Siren prevents Puupaa from improving his position.

Puupaa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Puupaa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Siren. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Siren maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Puupaa could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Siren has cracked it and Puupaa is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Siren!
