Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Anselm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Dillinger is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce Dillinger!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anselm fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dillinger fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Dillinger shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Dillinger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Anselm does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Anselm holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dillinger thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anselm's head.
Anselm is staying active underneath Dillinger, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Anselm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dillinger to the mat! Dillinger manages to get full guard.

Dillinger looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dillinger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anselm is one step ahead there.
Anselm trying to control the position from guard on top but Dillinger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Anselm pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dillinger is keeping the position for now.
Dillinger controls Anselm momentarily but Anselm frees himself.
Anselm pushes down on Dillinger's leg and manages to get into half guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Dillinger dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Dillinger doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Anselm counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dillinger won't be happy with that.

Anselm lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Dillinger down.

Anselm is trying to get an arm triangle but Dillinger is defending well.

Dillinger tries to get to full guard but Anselm has control of the leg.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dillinger is desperately trying to improve his position but Anselm has a good base and remains in mount.
Dillinger tries to lock up and control but Anselm gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dillinger is looking to improve his position but Anselm isn't that keen on the idea.
Anselm trying to control but Dillinger is having none of it.

Anselm has control of Dillinger's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dillinger regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Anselm looking for a guillotine from mount but Dillinger is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Anselm takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Dillinger is desperately trying to improve his position but Anselm has a good base and remains in mount.
Dillinger is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Dillinger is squirming around, avoiding Anselm's attempts to control the action.
Anselm connects with a couple of good shots from mount.


It looks like Bruce Dillinger has been cut.

Dillinger is desperately trying to improve his position but Anselm has a good base and remains in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

so Anselm counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Anselm is stalling here. Dillinger is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Anselm seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dillinger has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Leo Anselm just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Dillinger looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Anselm!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dillinger avoids the attempt from Anselm to control.

The referee warns Anselm that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leo Anselm's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
