PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Creepy Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Craun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Craun's choice of entrance music: Pussy Money Weed. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Craun with that takedown attempt.

Bastard moves into the clinch successfully.
Bastard tries to pull guard but Craun holds him up against the cage and eventually Bastard drops back down to his feet.
Craun can't get the takedown.

Bastard wants the takedown. Craun is fighting it off but Bastard persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Craun's guard against the cage.
Craun pulls Bastard in close to prevent any damage.

Craun wriggles free and stands up.
Craun throws a body kick that misses.

Craun gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bastard thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Craun got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bastard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Craun has managed to get both his arms back between Bastard's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Despite being in the dominant position, Eric Craun just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Craun feints and as Bastard raises his hands in defense, Craun changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

and Bastard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

I would just about give that final round to Eric Craun.
