Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between hunter hutto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). hutto comes to the cage accompanied by you should have killed me when you had the chance. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hutto has a takedown stuffed.

Ho closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. hutto did well to prevent Ho getting side control.

Ho looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ho prevents hutto from improving his position.
hutto is not content to let Ho control the position.
hutto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ho on the ground.
hutto tries to get to full guard but Ho has control of the leg.
Ho trying to control from half guard but hutto is working away.

hutto pushes Ho off looking to stand but Ho dives back in and keeps control.
hutto is trying to control but can't.
hutto wants to control but Ho passes into side.
Ho taking a breather here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ho tries for a takedown but hutto circles away easily
and hutto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ho looks for the body kick but hutto saw that one coming.
hutto misses with a takedown attempt

and Ho counters with a takedown into side control.

Ho is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. hutto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
hutto struggling a bit here.

Ho lands an elbow.
hutto is looking to regain half guard here but Ho keeps moving and retains side control.
Ho wants to control but hutto is keeping him busy.
hutto is trying to control Ho's posture but Ho avoids it.

Ho thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ho wants to lay and pray for a moment but hutto keeps working.

Ho advances to mount.
Ho looks gassed!

Ho has control of hutto's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and hutto regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Ho is going olschool here, as he tries to force hutto to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so hutto shrugs it off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
hutto is looking to improve his position but Ho isn't that keen on the idea.
Ho tries to control but hutto wriggling away.
The referee warns hutto that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
hutto tries to lock up and control but Ho gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ho wants to control the pace but hutto is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kai Ho dominated that round.
That's time! hutto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ho shoots and misses

and hutto counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ho won't be happy with that.
Ho wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Ho is not content to let hutto control the position.

hutto decides to stand back up.

hutto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ho's guard.
Ho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
hutto trying to control but Ho is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

hutto has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ho is proving hard to escape from.

Ho looking for submissions from the bottom but instead hutto passes into side control.
Ho is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Ho has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for hutto. Oh but Ho has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! hutto goes limp - he's gone! Ho jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
