Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). penn is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Billy Belcher looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
penn throws a body kick that misses.
Belcher looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Belcher scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Belcher takes the fight into the clinch.
Belcher lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of penn backwards.

Belcher breaks the clinch.
Belcher punishes penn's body with a nice straight punch.
Belcher scores with a one two! penn had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Belcher closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Belcher is trying to break the clinch but penn is controlling him.

penn can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Belcher is looking to escape.
Belcher is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Poor strikes thrown by penn there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
penn takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

penn is looking to take a break and control but Belcher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

penn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Belcher has escaped the position, nice work there.
penn lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Belcher down.

penn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Belcher keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
penn cracks Belcher with a big right hand but Belcher just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
penn tries to score with some ground and pound. Belcher controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Belcher takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

penn creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Belcher sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Belcher wants to get up but he can't break penn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Belcher stuffs the takedown.

penn throws a left and a right that both miss
and Belcher counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Belcher connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between penn's hands.

Belcher moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Belcher is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down penn rather than just go for the knockout.
penn has his takedown stuffed
and Belcher counters with a series of strikes. penn will be more careful next time no doubt.

Belcher forces penn back against the cage and clinches.
penn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Belcher wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but penn has him pressed against the cage.

Belcher is pressed up against the cage. penn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Belcher down to the mat. Belcher avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

penn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Belcher is fending him off so far but penn persists. Nope, Belcher circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown by penn or perhaps it was just good defense by Belcher which made him look bad.

I would just about give that final round to Billy Belcher.
