The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ottesen shoots for a double leg takedown but Anastasiadis sprawls well. He's pushed Ottesen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Anastasiadis looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Horrible takedown by Ottesen or perhaps it was just good defense by Anastasiadis which made him look bad.
Anastasiadis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ottesen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ottesen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ottesen wants to finish this one by submission but Anastasiadis is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ottesen.

Anastasiadis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ottesen on the ground.

Ottesen lands a nice shot to the head.

Ottesen landing strikes from the mount and Anastasiadis is in trouble!
Anastasiadis tries to hold on but Ottesen pushes him away.

Anastasiadis defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Ottesen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ottesen prevents Anastasiadis from getting the reversal.
Anastasiadis wants to control but Ottesen is having none of it.
Anastasiadis can't escape the position.
Ottesen seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Anastasiadis is holding on tight.

Ottesen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Anastasiadis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ottesen breaks from Anastasiadis's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Ottesen quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Ottesen but it's paid off an Anastasiadis is forced to tap! Nice work by Ottesen.
