Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olivier De Troyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tank Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Troyer comes to the cage accompanied by Jay Z - Run This Town. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Olivier De Troyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tank Rabbit!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Troyer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rabbit.
Rabbit throws a looping overhand right but De Troyer ducks down to avoid it.
De Troyer misses with a looping right.
De Troyer fails with a takedown attempt.
Rabbit lands a two punch combo.
De Troyer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rabbit checks it well.
Tank Rabbit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - De Troyer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rabbit defends well against a solid takedown attempt from De Troyer.

Rabbit displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from De Troyer.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olivier De Troyer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

De Troyer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rabbit looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
De Troyer just content to control the position.

De Troyer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rabbit is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rabbit is pushing De Troyer's head away, looking to escape. De Troyer manages to hold on to the position though.
De Troyer tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Rabbit should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
De Troyer moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
De Troyer prevents Rabbit from escaping the position.

De Troyer passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Rabbit!
Rabbit is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

De Troyer looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Rabbit tries to buck De Troyer off but he can't manage it.
Rabbit is squirming around, avoiding De Troyer's attempts to control the action.
De Troyer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
De Troyer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Rabbit's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
De Troyer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rabbit takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
De Troyer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Rabbit defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from De Troyer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Olivier De Troyer dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Rabbit moves away from the strike by De Troyer.
De Troyer tries to bum rush Rabbit with a series of wild strikes but Rabbit uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rabbit fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
De Troyer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Troyer tries a head kick but it misses.
A left and a right from Rabbit both land. Nice combination.
Rabbit throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Rabbit throws a leg kick that is checked
and De Troyer counters with a two punch combo.

De Troyer clinches with his opponent.
De Troyer is working for takedown but Rabbit is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rabbit is trying to break the clinch but De Troyer is controlling him.

De Troyer gets control of Rabbit's arms and successfully pulls guard. De Troyer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
De Troyer pulls Rabbit in to control the position.
Rabbit wants to get up but he can't break De Troyer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
De Troyer throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

De Troyer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Rabbit postures up.
De Troyer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
De Troyer is really struggling to control Rabbit but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Rabbit trying to stand up but can't free himself from De Troyer's guard.

De Troyer trying to keep a closed guard but Rabbit is proving a slippery customer.

De Troyer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rabbit defends well.

Rabbit wants to stand but De Troyer has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
De Troyer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rabbit's guard.
Rabbit keeping moving, preventing De Troyer from controlling successfully.
De Troyer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Olivier De Troyer just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Rabbit lands a with a good body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Olivier De Troyer dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


De Troyer fails with a takedown attempt.
A big left from De Troyer misses.
De Troyer tries to clinch there but Rabbit circles away.
Rabbit lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Excellent takedown into side control there by De Troyer.
De Troyer prevents Rabbit from escaping the position.
De Troyer trying to control the position but Rabbit is working away.

De Troyer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no De Troyer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rabbit is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, De Troyer asserts his dominance and retains side control.
De Troyer wants to control but Rabbit is keeping him busy.
De Troyer creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.


It looks like Tank Rabbit has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rabbit pushes De Troyer away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, De Troyer gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

De Troyer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rabbit, who protects the arm well.

De Troyer is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rabbit is trying to escape and De Troyer transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rabbit is forced to tap! Nice work there by De Troyer! Very nice indeed!
