The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Subs on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Seymour Subs has been cut.
Tree misses with a two punch combination.

Tree throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The Tree seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tree throws a right and a left that both miss.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Subs.

Tree throws a nice looking combination but Subs bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Subs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tree's waist but Tree gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Subs off to one side.

Subs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tree tries to avoid it but Subs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tree to the ground. Tree escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Subs uses his free foot to push down on Tree's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tree.
