Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny McCormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCormick is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by You Better Get Ready To Die. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny McCormick!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Brown throws a nice looking combination but McCormick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brown loads up on a big right hand but McCormick slips the punch.
Brown looks to land a right hand but McCormick moved out of range.
Brown throws a jab but it's blocked by McCormick.
Brown connects with a nice looking jab.
McCormick has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McCormick there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nice uppercut there from Brown.
McCormick defending well as Brown loads up on a big left hand.
McCormick swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCormick.
McCormick ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.
The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McCormick uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brown.
Brown throws a shot from downtown. McCormick moves away and avoids it.

McCormick drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Brown is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McCormick is aware though and is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McCormick drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!

Brown decides to stand back up.

McCormick feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McCormick thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Brown manages to escape and get back to his feet.
No joy there for Brown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCormick.
Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brown throws a good cross that connects.
Brown blocks a head kick by McCormick.
Brown on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McCormick misses with a wild body shot.
McCormick ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.

McCormick scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Brown keeps McCormick under control for a moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

McCormick wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well.

Brown manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
McCormick wants to get back to full guard.

Brown stands up and beckons McCormick to join him on the feet.
Brown slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Brown avoids the body shot from McCormick.
McCormick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McCormick throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCormick throws a predictable looking body shot

and Brown counters with a crisp one two that drops McCormick! Brown thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves McCormick to his feet! McCormick is in big trouble!


McCormick is rocked!
Brown closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops McCormick! Brown dives in looking to finish! McCormick is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Brown!
