Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vidal Persposky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Goss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Persposky's entrance music is ABBA - Waterloo. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Persposky shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Goss but Goss pushes him off and we're back to square one.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Persposky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Persposky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Goss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Goss drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Persposky wants to sweep but no luck.

Persposky moves into range and clinches up with Goss.

Persposky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Persposky is looking to clinch but Goss is avoiding it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Goss feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Vidal Persposky will probably get the nod.

Goss closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
