Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rua Degas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Bartlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartlett fails with an attempt to clinch.
Degas tries to clinch up but Bartlett circles away and keeps his distance.
Bartlett shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Degas but Degas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Degas shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bartlett wants to get back to full guard.

Degas wants to stand but Bartlett has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bartlett tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Degas smiles and moves away.
Rua Degas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent Bartlett.
Degas lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Degas.

and Degas counters with a nice uppercut.
Bartlett is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Degas.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bartlett is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Degas can't fight it off and eventually Bartlett manages to take the fight to the floor. Degas looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bartlett loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Degas tries to kick Bartlett off but Bartlett keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A jab-cross combination lands for Degas and sends Bartlett crashing to the mat! Degas follows him down to the mat - Bartlett regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Bartlett is rocked!
Degas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bartlett with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bartlett is still in real trouble! Can Degas finish him?

Bartlett wants to control but Degas is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Degas winds up and cracks Bartlett with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Degas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bartlett is just riding it out for now. Degas eventually gives up the hold.

Degas looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Bartlett seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Bartlett makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bartlett.
Bartlett working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Degas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Degas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bartlett wants to sweep here but Degas controlling him for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bartlett is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rua Degas dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Degas tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bartlett counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bartlett escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Degas scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bartlett shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Degas counters with a series of strikes. Bartlett will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bartlett keeps the fight on the outside.

Degas lands a nice hook to Bartlett's body. Bartlett takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Degas darts in and clinches Bartlett up against the cage.
Degas is working for takedown but Bartlett is calmly controlling the position for now.
Degas wants to break free but Bartlett has control.

Degas lands a hook that stumbles Bartlett back into the cage. Degas follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Bartlett to the canvas! Degas pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Bartlett has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
