Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rashad sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sanchez shoots in for a takedown but Yamamoto shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and sanchez counters with a shoot takedown. Yamamoto fights it but they end up in guard.

Yamamoto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
sanchez sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Yamamoto throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Yamamoto is looking for a triangle here but sanchez uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
sanchez throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Yamamoto works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
sanchez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Yamamoto is trying to escape back to his feet but sanchez uses the scramble to pass into side control.
sanchez wants to control but Yamamoto is keeping him busy.
Yamamoto is letting sanchez control him for a moment.

Yamamoto takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
sanchez moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Yamamoto is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but sanchez is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
sanchez trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Yamamoto is wriggling around trying to escape.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and sanchez counters with a takedown into side control.
sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yamamoto keeps working.
sanchez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yamamoto kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

sanchez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yamamoto is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

sanchez is looking to take a break and control but Yamamoto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

and sanchez counters with a takedown into side control.
sanchez is breathing heavily.
Yamamoto is looking to reverse the position.
Yamamoto can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
sanchez trying to control the action but Yamamoto is working from the bottom.
Yamamoto manages to work his way to half guard, despite sanchez's best efforts.

sanchez wants to get back to his feet.
Yamamoto trying to hold on to sanchez's head to control him but sanchez postures up.

sanchez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
sanchez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yamamoto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Yamamoto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so sanchez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
rashad sanchez has got the better of the ground game so far.

Yamamoto looking for a guillotine here but sanchez defends easily.

Yamamoto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and sanchez defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Yamamoto throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
sanchez doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Yamamoto counters with a single leg into guard. sanchez didn't expect that.

Yamamoto is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but sanchez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Yamamoto is looking to defend but sanchez has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Yamamoto! sanchez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Yamamoto taps out and this one is all over!
