Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauri Saarinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Charles Darwin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charles Darwin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saarinen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Darwin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Saarinen somewhat.

Charles Darwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauri Saarinen.
Darwin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Darwin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Saarinen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Darwin pinned against the cage. Darwin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Saarinen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Darwin as he jumps to the side.

Darwin misses with an uppercut. Saarinen saw that one coming.
Darwin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Saarinen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Darwin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Saarinen sprawling to the canvas! Saarinen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Darwin finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Darwin throws a leg kick that misses.
Darwin circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Saarinen to the canvas! Saarinen doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Darwin keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
